Board Meetings: Board meetings are held on the third Thursday of every month at 1pm at the District’s office, located at 1867 Shumway Hill Rd, Wellsboro, PA 16901.

Who We Are: The Tioga County Conservation District was established by the Tioga County Commissioners November 4, 1946, with the primary mission to control and prevent soil erosion.   We are a political subdivision of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. 

Our Mission: To provide for the conservation of natural resources of Tioga County through leadership, education, and technical assistance. 

Function: To take available technical, financial, and educational resources, whatever their source, and focus or coordinate them, that they meet the needs of the local land manager, for conservation of soil, water, and related resources. 

Who We Serve: All land users of Tioga County

Why: To provide education and seek opportunities for natural resource conservation including soil, water biodiversity and cultural resources.
