You are cordially invited to attend the upcoming 14 CFR Part 139 Airport Certification Training.
This live fire training satisfies the requirements for FAA Part 139. Students will receive classroom instruction on current Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) topics, along with live fire exercises. The course includes extinguishing live fire in the Large Area Spill Trainer utilizing both handlines and ARFF vehicle turret operations. Participants will also complete handline training in the Specialized Aircraft Fire Trainer (SAFT), with live-fire scenarios involving wheels and brakes, engines, cabin, and cockpit fires.
This 8-hour course will be offered twice daily, once at 0800 and once at 1600, and is available on any of the three days.
The cost for this training is $75.00 per person for all first responders. This fee includes all training materials, certificates, and refreshments.
Important Information:
• Participants must have Chief’s approval to attend
• Participants are required to bring structural firefighting gear and SCBA
• Registration is required to secure a seat.
