Course Description: This program will describe the unseen hazards requiring early air monitoring to assure a safe environment while operating at incidents where atmospheric conditions are potentially harmful. A combination of lecture and discussion will focus on hazards associated with responding to an incident. Hands-on exercises include the use and interpretation of single gas, multi-gas, and photoionization detectors (PID) available to departments
