Emergency Boat and Rescue Operations (EBOR)

Location: Day 1 - Mansfield U Public Safety and Day 2 - Cowanesque Dam

Instructor: Rickey Price
Pre-requisites: PA Fish and Game Boat Operators Course, Age 18 and up, Water Rescue & Emergency Response (WRER), Recommended 2-3 hours of operating a boat.

Course Equipment: US Coast Guard approved PFD, water rescue helmet & appropriate clothing for water & weather conditions

Con-Ed: TBD

Course Description: This 16-hour program involves skills of boat operation for rescue including boat selection, recommended equipment, boat handling, boat used rescue technique, and extrication from the water. This class has special gear and equipment needs. Contact your local Field Director for a complete list of all gear and equipment.

Registration Information: Submit a registration form from the DES webpage and a completed Training authorization Form.
