Advanced Line System Rescue (ALSR) – PA Fish & Boat Commission

Location: Day 1 - Mansfield U Public Safety and Day 2 - Cowanesque Dam

Instructor: Rickey Price
Pre-requisites: Age 18 and up, Water Rescue & Emergency Response (WRER) PA Fish & Boat or Water Rescue / Emergency Response Phase I

Course Equipment: Appropriate swimsuit, towels, get wet clothing for prevailing weather conditions, whistle, USCG approved personal flotation device (pfd), properly outfitted water rescue helmet, & proper PPE. (a type II vest if possible)

Course Description: To have students become aware how to set up and utilize various line systems for water rescued, river crossings, and to proficiently don and use a type V rescue vest.
