How to vote by absentee -  If you will be out of your municipality during the hours the polling places are open on election day or if you have an illness or physical disability that prohibits you from going to your polling place, then you may vote by absentee.  You can call the Tioga County Election Bureau at (570) 723-8230 and request an absentee application or you can  click here to download an electronic copy. If you are a resident of Tioga County, you may fax your completed ballot application to (570) 723-8206 and send it to:
